Went to install my other Kicker 250.2 amp and planned on putting it on the back of my fold down back seats only to realize the 450.2 amp was hogging all the room. I could fit it on the seat but it wouldn't be able to fold up and have people sit there... I couldn't find any other place for it so I stuck it on my box. It is 3/4" MDF with 2 12" RE12's inside. The box vibrates rapidly but not much at all. Not flexing or bowing etc. My question. Is it safe to mount on there like that? What would be another option if it is not safe?
id say it is safe...but get rubber bushings from ya local hardware store and get longer screws or watever is holding ya amp 2 the box and put the bushings in between it
