I know Re's subs are just as good as JL audio in terms of Sq. but what sub can i get to Match the 13w7 as far as spl, everyone around here talks about the w7 all the time so i want to be different. And can i still use my 1000/1 with it?
imo, the elder xxx is the only re sub that can match the jl 6&7 in sq. it's not difficult to match the spl. it's a matter of matching the 13's spl AND sq that's going to be tricky. ftr, i like the 6 over the 7.
everyone always talk about RE subs not the W7. there are a lot of subs that will match the W7 in spl but very few in SQ. something RE can't quite do currently as mickechec more or less said. you'd be better off getting 2 subs trying to beat the W7 most of the underground subs that are as loud are not available currently or are hard to find.
