I have 2 12's and and kinda old amp that wont work. i know its hoked up correctly because theyll work when the car is on accessory but not while the engine is running. Sometimes if i go on a long trip then start the car again theyll work but not always. Help!?
I had a similar problem, turned out my cars power system was not putting out enough to power both amps and run the car at the same time. Then would come on the instant the key turned, but soon turn off with no sound. This drove me crazy! Bought an optima yellow top and it fixed the problem. I had already replaced the alt about a month before that.
