yeah but what do you think about the competition? I plan on getting 2 SX 12's, but right now i am just getting one SX, little short on cash lol. so what do you think about the competition between me and my friend? which would be louder maxed out w/ the specs above?

the box is being built as we speak they are chambering it so that i can add another 12 down the road. so when i get it all hooked up which would be louder?
yea but his friend has alot more surface area ... little more than double i think for now his is going to be louder but after you get your second sx and another amp then definatly yours is but also what type of cars do you have do you have proper charging system, wires, HU so many factors contribute to how loud your subs get
i would imagine if his 2 L7 12 are in a truck and yours are in a car his would probably be louder. the sx will sound good but i do not think it will be louder then 2 L7 but when you get your second one then you will be the loudest so thats the better comparison.
Agreed.. the two L7s should be louder. They are underpowered by 100rms each but hes got the suface area on you, besides L7s do get pretty loud. I've got a friend running 2 and he hit 161dB. You do have an advantage given you vehicle type though. You never know, the SX might surpise us all. Two should have no problem beating em though.
ive read around the sx gets louder than the l7 but if you both are pushing your subs to the specs then yours should get alot louder 1200rms vs 2000 rms (2400 if u get another re12.1)
