Serious confusion

Post Number: 234 Registered: Oct-05	Posted on Monday, December 12, 2005 - 08:16 GMT I have recently discovered that car amps need a certain amount of amperes to operate properly ((yea i kno im stupid,but i dont have a car and only have about a years experience in car audio)) I have always used about .5-1 amp power supplies and my stuff worked fine. If my amps need about 20 amperes to run how come they work fine with 1??

However they will require the proper amperes if used at high volumes or for longer periods of time. Think of it like this; You can run barefoot out of dangers way, but you wouldnt do it all day any day.
