I currently have an ex cab ranger with a 10" infinity kappa perfct and an alpine 600 watt amp.
I had 2 12w6s in my old car with the same amp.
I am looking for the sq of the kappa perfect and at least the spl of my old 12w6s.
I would like to accomplish this with one 12. So after lots of research I am looking at
the adire brahmas, the re xxxs and the jl w7s.
Will one 12 in a sealed box with a new 1000 watt amp be enough?
Although I have only heard the w7, I am leaning towards a brahma 12 in a 1 cubic foot sealed box with a hifonics brutus 1000d amp.

Any advice is greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Jason

for the price of the W7 i didnt like what i heard, may have been the yukon it was in doubt it tho it was in the snazy jl encloser but for the price he should of recieved a blow job to be happy with it... id assume the brahma sounds nearly the same but way more worth its price..
just my 2cents

JL 13W7 and a JL 1000/1 in a 1.0ft^3 enclosure sealed, and you should have a very good response.
deep, tight, and very loud and accurate.

Isnt 1.0ft^3 too small for the w7?
Jl says:
"enclosure Recommendations:
Sealed Range: 1.5 - 2.25 cu. ft. (42.48 - 63.72 ltrs)
Recommended Sealed Volume: 1.875 cu. ft. (53.1 ltrs)"
I will listen to a 13w7 tommorrow and see what enclosures they can put in for me to hear.
Thanks.

yeah I wasn't accounting for the displacement.
those subs are *huge*
anyway that sub will do wonders, even by itself.

if you want to go a bit less and cheaper, a single sealed 12W7 with the 500/1 is good, too
