Curious what people think of these. I only intend on pumping about 200W per sub in a sealed box in my Dodge extended cab. They are so cheap

Hmmm...

Not a bad sub, but it is definetly not the award winning sub either. It is definetly a mild average sub.

This sub will be good in a small sealed box (probably around 1 cubic foot or so).

It is projected to handle 250 watts RMS. I would definetly encourage to use an amp with a little bit of headroom so about 300 watts. Using an amp that pushes out less than the RMS of a speaker will not be good.

If you have self-controll, and do not crank the gain, bass, and volume all the way up, it may not hurt it. It all depends how you use it.

But if you run a 200 watt amplifier with it and blast it, I promise you will ruin that sub.
