well i've decided to sell my 12" MTX thunder 8000 subwoofer and get something a tad better. i have about 200-300 dollars to spend on a sub and would like to know what you guys think would be a good choice. i want something that hits really hard and still sounds pretty decent. eventually i'd like to buy another. but for now i just want to buy a really nice one.

so what do you guys think?

eclipse, ID, MTX, Kicker, Infinity.

I agree with Rovin.......too many people got the other 3, and the eclipse or IDmax will pound with the right amp/box.

How about the Alpine Type X? It runs around 300, I don't think you can get the Eclipse Ti for less than 300 and the IDmax is slightly more than the Type X.
