I just bought a 4g wiring kit from my local shop and I was just curious as to if a seller can sell a smaller gauge wire advertised as a larger size? The wire looks like 4g on the outside but the insulation is waaaaay thick, and the actual wire looks a little small. Im also curious if the strand count in the wire could make up for this? I know most current flows along surface area or the wire so Im just wondering if you guys have any experience with different looking wire sizes than normal...
