I have a mono amp how many watts are going to each voicecoil?

James G Silver Member Username: James_g TN Post Number: 424 Registered: Jul-05	Posted on Wednesday, November 30, 2005 - 19:18 GMT Those are dual voice coil, correct? Each coil would get 1/4 of the total output from the amp. If the amp is putting out 1200w RMS, then each coil is getting 300w RMS.
ty mutlow Silver Member Username: Tjmutlow Post Number: 225 Registered: Sep-05	Posted on Wednesday, November 30, 2005 - 19:25 GMT that would be, if that amp puts out 1200, it probably is rated for that at a certain voltage, doubtful it is rated for stock charging system.
