ok i have heard that u can mod an RE amp, if so how can u do it to put out more power, thanks for your help

lots of amps can be "modded"

usually this is done for SPL comps...the protection circuits are cut out so that they can be run at lower impedence loads. (ex: 1ohm stable amp can run at .35ohm...but the chance of smoking the amp is increased alot)

also amps can be modded to accept higher voltages...most amps are made to work in the 11-15V range, but some can be modded to work at 16V+.

this is usually not recommended for daily use.

ok i have 2 12" Re SX subs, and i need an amp and i was looking at the RE amp, and i was wondering how can i get this to work for my subs needs, they are 2000MAX 1000RMS

i would get 1 amp per sub.

the RE 12.1 is rated at 1200wrms @1ohm, that amp will match up nicly for 1 SX.

how do you wire the sub at 1 ohm, do you know of a link or sumthing that will tell me how to do this
