I just picked up a pair of 12" Rockford fosgate Hx2's in a sealed enclosure. I was driving my old bazooka with a Profile MSX 600. The Fosgates need more power then that. They dont sound real good hooked up to this amp and actually the amp went into protection already once.
Whats a good "budget" amp that will drive these subs properly? I cant spend a ton as I already overspent on these subs.
Hopefully I didnt make a mistake. I debated on getting subs to match my current power (400w @ 2 ohm) but decided after hearing a different punch sub to go this route thinking my current amp would at least drive them ok. Its really not.
