I know that the general rule is about 10 amps per 100 watts. So if a 1200 watt amp puts out 1200 rms at 1 ohm would that be 120 amps worth of fuses built into the amp? I saw a Directed D2400 that says it puts out 1200w rms but it only has 30A x 3 worth of fuses. That means 90 amps total which can produce continuously 900w rms. How does it put out 1200w rms with out blowing the fuse?
