I realized this idea after i responded to another post in the subwoofer section.....You could make a port out of mdf that way it could be round and in any size you want instead of hunting down pvc in the size you need also doing it this way you could make any twisting and turns you wanted to make it fit inside your subwoofer box also you could overcome the flaws of air flow i believe that is in the slot port design ....this could also be used to make a custom flared port design fairly easily
Your local plumbing store has all the pvc you need for subs. It is cheaper and easier to work with. Your idea might come in handy under certain condition.
