Im getting a box built for my truck should i have the speakers facing toward the roof, into the back of the seat, or at a 45 deg angle toward the front/roof

facing up fills the cabin the most

45 degree angle points right at your ears for the most detail (but overpowers vocals)

facing the back seat points half of the sound field towards the floor (ok if your subs are close to the roof)

increased cabin gain. significant decrease in vibrations since it's aimed at the floor.
