I have an Apline 10 inch sub and a Scropion box enclosure. There are not wire connections for the su to the box, do I just use speaker wire or is there a certain wire to use? Secondly would it be best to use my sub in 2 or 4 ohms? I have the one ten and two 6X9's The 6X9's are connected to the head unit and I was going to have the Alpine Amp push the ten. Any help would be great...
If you have a duel voice coil sub, you can have duel two ohms or duel 4 ohms. if you have duel 2 ohms, you can wire it to 1 ohm or 4 ohms. if you have duel 4 ohms, you can wire it to 2 or 8 ohms. you cant have a duel voice coil sub and have the option of wiring it to 2 or 4 ohms.
