ok i have 2 LA VC2 15 inch subs and im building a box for them and i was going to make seperate but equal chambers for each of them. the only difference with the two is i was going to tune one around 40 hz and the other around 30. the box total is 10.5 cubic feet. should i run each one through cross overs or would the two chambers just cancel each other out or what.
if you have a box tuned to one frequency its natually louder at that one frequency makeing it sound un even but if tuned with a broder range maybe 40 and 30 isnt enough but it was a rough idea but it will make it have a better transitions. also i prefer a box tuned lower it sounds better but in a truck like mine around 4 is louder so with the dual chamber i get one that sounds good and one thats loud
