How Far Away From The Port Can You Feel The Air

For A 12" In A 1.9ft Cubic 3" Diameter Port.About 1-2 Inches or Is There Something Wrong With My Box

haw much air that is coming out of the depends on what freq. the sub is playing.

ex: if the box is tuned to 32hz and you give the sub a 32hz tone...you will have alot of air coming out of the port.

NE$TER -

my 306 Pioneer sub (like yours) which i currently have in my room right now has a 3" pipe port tuned high like around 45HZ powered by about 150wrms car amp & i can feel the air out the port sitting in my chair about 9ft away !

My box volume though is 1.65 cu.ft

There is a desk nearby with some bills & a few have actually been blown to floor ......

Hey rovin i Didnt Know Ur Sub Was In Your Room Like Mine I Got The same 3" pipe Port tuned to About 28 hz but i Dont get much Air But Then again Im Only givin It somewhere under 110w still tryin to get an amp

well i don't have an amp right in car powerful enough to push it so is resting in my room .

did buy my amp & its coming down later this month from FL .

If u are using pvc pipe i hope u realised its never exactly 3" but closer to 3 & a 1/4 " .........
