I just bought a sony xplod sub. I know you guys say they suck, but I'm not into spending all that money. I tried hooking it up to my amp where the 6x9's are plugged in, but it barely put out any sound. I have a pioneer 500 watt amp. I didnt wire the system myself(bought the car with it in it.) I just dont know what to do.

ummm, no. Would that be a switch or a dial you turn with a screwdriver? Sorry but I am a total newbie when it comes to this stuff. I only got the sub because the car came with everything else....

you are going to want to wire your 6x9's to the front right and left chan in stereo, then bridge your rear two chan to the sub/subs

no, all that will be on it is the 6x9's and the one sub. The only way I could get them to all be on was to put them all on the same channel...is this bad?!?

you mean the sub and the 6x9 in one channel? if that is the case, don't do it.
