hi. i dont really know much about how what it means when something is like dual 2 ohm insed of none dual but would hooking up a dual 2 ohm sub like this one

work? im just all confused now bucause on the pic of the sub theres 2 sets of inputs like 2 +'s and -'s does this have to be like one from a difernt channel of an amp or the same one? im just so confused someone help me. and if it does work is that a good combination?

Well... not if your looking for good sound quality. That subwoofer is used for very small enclosures so thats really the only benefit. I would go for something in the alpine line of subwoofers. Try two 12" type s or type R. Then get a mono amp to power them. Now, how you wire your subs will depend completely on how you want to run them.

many people here will probably wanna talk you out of those 2 brands so i wont even get into it. But if thats what you want, yes it will work. You will end up wiring the two 2 ohm voice coils in parallel to get a single 1 ohm load, which you will connect to the amp brigded. You will only connect one pos and one neg to the amp. Since your new to all this, try reading www.bcae1.com a few times if you wanna learn something.
