Thomas, I think I just e-mailed you, or there's another person in Hawaii looking at the sub :-)

You can go to FedEX.com and get an approx shipping rate. It is coming from 29045 zip and is about 45lbs. the box is about 12x16x16. I will look into getting something more concrete though tomorrow and get back to you.

What kind of a price are you looking to get for it??? I am curious as i might be interested in selling my RE12's, a very slim chance nonetheless.

Chris - it is too good of a sub to let go for under, around, 225 before shipping (especially in the condition it's in). I will keep if forever if I can't get that for it.

any solid amp that can do 500-800 watts rms will get it going nice.

btw sealed or ported? what do you recommend. also jl 1000/1 would not overpower the sub right?

Just as long as you watch your gain level or input sensitivity level on your amp. Keep it less then half way and you will be on the safe side.

Definetly go sealed at about 2.2 cuft which is the optimum size for this Subwoofer to play at its best. HIts the low end with authority and is loud enough for a everyday driver and will hit hard with that JL 1000/1

neither of these subs will end for under 225. (well it would really surprise me if they did) not too long ago a 12" ava ended for 227 plus shipping.

Yeah you sure could do that. Just make up for it in the depth.

lol what u had for the depth is to big the hatch hits it and pushes it down( its cardboard ) and dont think i could go any smaller and keep it sounding nice. im trying to think of what i can do, parents wont let me take the spare out and prolly wont let me folod down back seats so any ideas? pointing them up maybe and if that'd work how much u think someone would charge to build something like that?
