Ive never heard digatal designs subs but i know they can get loud.does anyone know if they have good sq? should i go with the dd 3500 15" or the re sx 18" sub? im not shure if re subs have sq either. if the xxx sub is not too much, I will have that as another option

certain models of the DD subs have excellent SQ.
like the 1000, 2000, 2500, and 9100.

both the 3500 and the SX are aimed at SPL. if you want a SQ sub, then go for the XXX or an IDmax, or a Sounsdsplinter Rl-p. something along those lines.

a few ppl who have owned it i remember posted that it was good - who knows , cause ppl have varying tastes on what sounds good or not ....

Why not do 2 12s IDmax ($300/1) for some good old fashion clean sounding tight loud bass ......

I might just go ahead and get the xxx. i think the 18" xxx will be enough for me. i can get a 2400 watt amp at parts express, but its pretty cheap. i dont know if it would work good though. just to let you know this sub will be for my house. check it outhttp://www.partsexpress.com/pe/pshowdetl.cfm?&DID=7&Partnumber=248-747

what do you think of it?

it'll still be mono. sound waves of that frequency are longer than the space between our ears, so the sound's going to be mono regardless.
