I was wondering where I could find specs to build like a 5 cubic foot box tuned to 25Hz or something. Why doesn't ascendant audio recommend a ported box for this subwoofer?
Chris - I have plans for a 4ft^3 tuned at about 27hz if you want them. That's a little smaller than you want though. It's the same box I build and it is pretty sweet with my avalanche.
outside dimensions are 36"x19.5"x16.5". 3/4" MDF with a double baffle. the port is 3.5x15x40, I dont remember the exact length but it comes out to around 27hz.
