How to wire my system to get more bass

hi im new to car audio and i was wondering how can i get more bass out of my system.i am currently running 2 dual voice coil 4 ohm alpine type s and a 920 watt kenwood amp. i think its wired in series.i just want a little more bass so would it work if i wired the subs in parallel.would it hurt my subs in any way being it is 4 ohm subs.any help would be greatly appreciated.i think my amp is 2 ohm stable but dont know if the subs would handle.

u have to keep it wired at 4ohm if ur amp is 2ohm stable...if you ran them parallel it would make it 1ohm and that would not be good.

well is it possible to get more bass out of it without having to buy anything new

Build a new box, dynomat, sometimes new headunits help.

what kind of box do u reccomend.i think my box is a sealed box.how about adding some ports to my box.would that help.or maybe a better amp.

or what do i need to do to get it to run at 2 ohms

get a ported box an tune it @ 36hz an theres bass right there ported is way louder than a sealed box

Get a bass maximizer. Like Audio Controls Epicenter.It will do wonders 4 u.
