get the kicker comp vr's which are 400 watts RMS per sub. more thump and better sound quality than the audiobahns.

i'm just setting up a simple setup
the comp vr's are too much for me.
so the audiobahns are clearly inferior..thanks for the heads-up

how about between
kicker comp
or the
rockford punch P1

on ebay, you can get 2 12" kicker comp vrs' for only 110 bucks or even less... That is for TWO of them, its a great price. It's basically the same price if you were to get 2 of those audiobahns. Personally i really dont like the "punches" because they dont give you a deep sounding bass, but they are good subs though and are reliable. check out the 2 kickers comp vr's on ebay...

if you are looking at the comps check this out,

http://cgi.ebay.com/Kicker-DC12-Comp-Series-Subwoofer-Enclosure-NEW_W0QQitemZ582 2597172QQcategoryZ39777QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem

this is a great deal because it comes with the already made box specifically designed for those subs. dont be hesitant buying off ebay tis a great site. i reccommend getting the comps off ebay whether or not you want the box to come with the sub because without the box, you are looking to spend 70-100$ anyway, for a good enclosure.

yea, it is a great because the box will make the subs sound twice as good...

for the orion amp, if you are getting 2 12" subs you wouldnt want a multi-channel amp like that is. You would want an amp that is mono, or 2-channel.

that amp that you are looking at is alot money. I would go with a kicker, audiobahn or MTX amp. all of these are very reliable.

these would be good to power you 150 RMS each subs.

http://www.onlinecarstereo.com/CarAudio/ProductDetail.aspx?ProductID=13486

- this is good because it has a cooling fan and you could either get this which is a 2-channel or a mono-channel amp.

here is a mono:

http://www.onlinecarstereo.com/CarAudio/ProductDetail.aspx?ProductID=13490

- al of the audiobahsn light up blue and it also looks good at night.

or kickers:

http://www.onlinecarstereo.com/CarAudio/ProductDetail.aspx?ProductID=13889

-this is a 2 channel

what you have to remeber is to look at the power when briged unless it is a mono-channel amplifer which cannot be bridged.

For the 2-channels you look at the power bridged and that for your subs should be around 300-400 watts when briged.

although mono-channel amps cost more

the MTX amps are good also:

http://www.onlinecarstereo.com/CarAudio/ProductDetail.aspx?ProductID=13290

-mono channel

http://www.onlinecarstereo.com/CarAudio/ProductDetail.aspx?ProductID=15173

-2-channel

these also have a fans in them and the MTX you can change to like 50 diffeent colors or sumthin and you can change it to pulsate to the beat of the music

anymore questions feel free to ask.

the amps are great but orions also got the class D versions (mono) and they are on sale less 50%..

and if i get comp vr's that would only mean that i need more power for the amps.and more money then

not much more, but you will be more saticfied. So the orions amps are 50% off? That is pretty good, just make sure it has what you need.

the comps would be fine, it will give alot bass still. you'll be saticfied.

they are, but the myx amps dont put out much power... and to get one that puts out 400 watts is around 300. Alos MTX doesnt hit as low of bass as kicker
