the rl-i is more of a sq sub. not so much spl. not designed to as are the rl-p's. it will still get loud, and sound yards better and cleaner/clearer than the cvr's though.
all day, imo. be certain to contact mike at ss though. the rl-i's are extremely install specific. just hip him to your set-up, and he will hit you with the ideal measurements.
