ok so my radio is fuzzy(more fuzzy than my stock CD player and its almost constant). amd im pretty sure its not just the signal cause it usually says its getting a good signal. my gournd cable is currently soddered to my cars frame(atleast i think its the frame) anyway the paint is scraped off and everything. should i maybe attach it to a bolt instead? also i woundnt be able to hear the ground loop while playing a CD right?

just in case it matters its a Kenwood KAC-8402 amp 60x x 4 and i have a pioneer deh-770MP headunit

so you just have to paint sanded off and the ground wire is soldered...yea, try a self tapping screw.

make sure your amp has a good ground also.

and yea...if its a gound loop, you should hear it w/ a CD also.

hmm i dont hear it when i listen to CDs so maybe i just dont get a very good signal from that perticular station. if just seems like something is wrong because it is a worse signal then what i got on my stock radio.
