Most Powerful Sub for a Hifonics Zeus ZX7500?

Yes I am a newbie here, so I apologize if I've done anything wrong already, lol.

I have a Hifonics Zeus ZX7500 amp powering my Cerwin Vega V-MAX 12" sub.

I mostly listen to music with computer produced beats (rap, raggaeton, etc.). I like the sound of the Cerwin-Vega, but I think I can get a little more out of a sub with this amp. It doesn't catch all the bass from the music, and I want something that'll push a little more air through the car.

I was looking into getting an Kicker Solo L7, but I think it's the look of the sub that attracts people more than anything. Is it a worthwhile sub?

I just need someone to recommend me some 12" subs that my Zeus can handle, yet push it hard.

Specs for both:

Thanks all!

What's the RMS wattage of that sub? And are you going for SQ, SPL, or SQL? That's the only thing you did wrong.... but we'll forgive you this time :P.

The reason we get a little bitchy, is because 91.2% of us are trying to stop smoking (or at least I am), and the rest are having constant PMS.

"What's the RMS wattage of that sub? And are you going for SQ, SPL, or SQL?"

And: "Whats your budget on a sub?"

your sub is 300 rms and the amp is 1000 rms bridged
you could get another of your sub and wire both of them together to get a 4 ohm load so you can bridge it but you might blow ur subs if you crank it up cause you are overpowerin them a lil
(does anyone know the adverage % hifonics is overrated at i read it before its like 23% but i cant find any sites on google that shows the a bench off them)
or you could go with a
eclipse ti
re sx

those are probily the best bang for the buck
anyone got any other suggestions ?

I wanted to go with 2 12's, but I can't, because I need room in the trunk for moving stuff.

My budget... well I was trying to keep it under $300, but that really doesn't matter. I'll end up looking for the best deal on it, 'till I convince myself to buy it.

I'll look into the Eclipse and RE's.

BTW, I keep forgetting - what's that brand with the xXx on 'em?

Thanks for the responses.

Def. looking into RE now. There's a guy on my VW forum site who custom builds enclosures and I think he runs an xXx.
