(i could be wrong) I'm also getting a SX12 and bought a MB Quart Reference RAA1000. You should try to find one of them. (make sure it's the ones made in the USA, Mb Quart was recently purchased but thier old stock is still top of the line.) |

IMO - i like new stuff so there's peace of mind ! |

Make sure it's not 'B' stock or refurbed and ask for a warranty before you even purchase. Like I said before, Alpines aren't 1 ohm stable and IMO get the MB Quart's while thier still have products made in the USA. |

It produces lower wattage. Kicker kx1200.1 retail is A stock, does what it's supposed to do plus more. Kicker kx1200.1 B stock, may do what its rated at but its probably lower rms wattage. DON"T BUY B STOCK !! p.s. The MB Quart RAA1000 is rated at 1,000 watt RMS at 1 ohm (in fact it does more than that). A single RE SX12 needs 1000 watts RMS @ 1 ohm. I don't see how it 'kinda' underpowers the SX12. |

You want to stay away from refurbs, remanufactored, and B stock. If you look at the lower priced kickers the auctions say B stock or remanufactored. Thats why they are cheaper!! |
