Important box help for a Type R Sub

You might've read some of my threads on how I had a Type R in a Subzone vented box and how I couldnt tell the difference between a deep low bass level and high bass sound. I think the reason being is because my vented box was too big, but I heard the type R in a Q-logic box (and it was vented) but seemed a bit smaller, and the bass seemed to be a little deeper, when my other box was pushing out so much air the different bass levels sounded the same. Do I need a sealed box, or should i stick with a vented box? or maybe just a smaller one?

Just go to the website, get the enclosure measurements and get yourself a box. I usualy liek ported vs. sealed, but if your making your own box ported is harder to make.

Oh, and here is a good website to figure out sizes in case you DO want to go ported but want to change the box a little. Also a good site for the future:
