how to u know how to find a sub that has spl vs sql i dont quite understand the meaning, im guessing spl is for heavy bass and sql is for sound quality but just a guess, how can u tell a sub apart from spl and sql.

I think most sub manufactuers say if the sub is for a certain type.

I wouldnt know does any one have a place where we could check whta sub is for what??

tell us what kind of sub it is and we can determine that. some examples of each would be:
SPL- Kicker L7, Audiobahn etc
SQL- JL audio W7 and W6v2 w3v2, RE, Eclipse.

sql basically refers to a sub that has good sound quality with/at high output.
