Ok idk if i want 15" Alpine Type-R SWR-1521D or 12" Alpine Type-R SWR-1222D. because everysite that i go to says that they both have 500rms? so i was wondering what would be the difference. would the 15" just be louder or sumthing.

the 15" will move the additional air required to reproduce lower frequencies.
it won't necessarily play any louder, it just won't have to extend as far to produce a comparable SPL (b/c of the increased surface area).
12" are generally more "punchy" sounding than the deeper reproduction of the 15".
that's basically it though (unless you plan on crossing the hz somewhere in the hundreds).

That model he listed is the older model http://www.hookedontronics.com/sales/A39f7d8e_P139_swr_1521d_alpine_car_subwoofe rs_subwoofers_car_stereo_review_alpine.htm
which is 500wrms

Now if he was said the newer model such as http://sonicelectronix.com/item_4194.html then current model is 750 wrms ...

I'd gladly take the new 15" type R over a 12" ....
