How to setup 4ohm subs as 2ohm?

Just wanted to get some verifycation on how to turn a 4ohm(percoil) dual voice coil sub with 4 terminals 2 pos and 2 neg? for 2 subs thanks.

wire all the subs coils in parallel so each sub will have a total 2ohm impedance. Then wire two subs in series, and the other two subs in series. Then wire the two series pair in parallel with the other series pair. Then wire to amp. Sounds confusing huh, lol. Got to rovins link for a visual!

Alright so since my amp isnt 2ohm bridgeable stable then that means i cant do it like that alright i get it.

So what would be a good amp that pushes 500RMS 2 channel or even 400RMS at 4ohms?

Mike but i only have 2 subs lol. You said two subs this and that and then the other two subs this and that lol. thers only 2.

Id guess ill be better off getting a better 4ohm load 400rms or 500rms watt 2 channel amp upgrade nothing to pricey please somthing around 230 bucks or 250. http://www.onlinecarstereo.com/CarAudio/ProductDetail.aspx?ProductID=12803 SOmthing like that??

yah that doesnt really make sense then does it.

2 2ohm DVC woofers cant be wired to yield a two ohm load. 4 can though, lol.

Well then what 4ohm load 500RMS watt amp could i get? LIke the vibe 268 model?
