I decided I will try out 2 12" SPL subs, so what is a GOOD SPL sub that can handle 800 RMS and 2000 MAX, 2 channel amp so they will both be getting 800 rms.(@ 2 OHMS)

thanks!

All the woofers I listed will work with 800 watts rms.
When you say spl... are you just looking for an spl woofer, or do you want it to sound ok too?
I'd prob go with the sound Splinter first, then the SX, and my last choice would be the L7.
I'll give reasons if needed.:-)

Well, thats why I picked the Sound Splinter, it can get loud, but sound good at the same time. Its also the cheapest I believe... around $230 I think. Its been a while sense I've looked them up.
The RE's have been getting lots of praze from this forum lately... for they're amazing results/for the price... which is around $280/300 I believe.
The L7's are good for 1 thing, and 1 thing only... spl.
They'll get loud, but don't sound that good.
The square shape of the cones causes stresspoints, so they've gotten lots of bad reviews on reliability... just a poor built sub basically.

yeah. kind of hard to limit the power on "the best spl sub." but all of them will work with 800rms-2000max watts. the ti pro and and the mt will be the hard heads though. considerably more for those.

if you want 2 spl subs that will be loud as f*** and work well off 800 watt rms each,2 kicker l7's in the right enclosure will probably be your best bet.
