What do you guys think of Eclipse amps for speakers.
What other brands do they compare too.

For what kind of speakers? components, subs?

Does it really matter, the quality of speakers doesnt effect the integrity of the amp in which i am inquiring about. Im looking at Eclipse amps to power some component speakers.

Im just wondering how they stack up to other brands. I thought they were considered good/great, not exactly brax/Zapco quality but more along the lines of JL.

Just looking for some feedback from guys on the forum.

Eclipse amps are listed as "Highly Recomended" on this list of amplifiers.

I never used one, but I heard one in a friends car it was on his highs and it was crystal clear! He had a PPI on his subs. I am still guessing their subwoofer amps are also good.

I'd say that they're with JL Audio.
Defenantly a great brand/company.

Awesome company. Their amps are up there. I have the DA7232 for my subs, and it hits. I've also tried their smaller sub amps, and their 4 channel amp, and they're clean (but Zapco has 'em beat :P).

I still don't see what everyone sees in JL. They're just overrated, and I'll probably never own any of JL's stuff. No, I'm not cheap, it's just for the same amount, you can get something that's on a higher level...
