yes, the sub calls for 1.00-1.5 cu.ft. of space and the box is 1.25 cu.ft. of space

Therefore the will work in that box.

the box is thin. it flexes and subtracts from your total spl. in addition, they are often times not properly sealed. i owned a couple back in the day.
i would sooner look into www.partsexpress.com

Would R&T be a better brand it says its 1 inch mdf and fully glued and caulked?

exactly. although i'm (again) not a fan of prefabs, this is certainly a better option.
i just don't know that they have dual boxes as does q-logic.

Why not make your own box if you have woodworking skills and some time. This way you have something custom made to your automobile so you can take advantage of your vehicles space efficiently.
Keep it loud and clean from canada peace out.
