Anonymous | Those subs are 300W RMS, 1200W Max and 4ohms. I wire them in parallel for a 2 ohm load. I want to spend as little as possible, maybe under 200. |

Anonymous | What do I look for in an amp? If I run those subs in parallel with a 2 ohm load, do I get an amp that puts out 600W RMS at 2 ohms? Or do I get a 2 channel amp that puts out 300W RMS per channel at 4 ohms? |

Gold Member Username: Taylor17Kopperl, Texas Post Number: 2986 Registered: Jan-05 | Yes, anything close to that. if you buy a Class D amp, then you'll need the 600 watts rms at 2 ohms, but if you go with a 2 channel amp, then something around 300 watts rms at 4 ohms. |
