I was looking at the JL 12W1 and the 12W3. I was going to get two of whichever and was wondering which is better for the price. The W1 are $129ea and the W3 are $229ea.
where are u paying 229 for W3's? at my local audio one their 175 for 12" and usually you can find it cheaper online than in stores :-x and if you get 2 W3's with the custom jl box made exactly for the subs its 499
OK I looked and can get them cheaper. But are the W3's better for the money or are they a little upgrade? And how much would an amp be to power each properly?
just from what ive heard, id get a 500/1 to run the W3's... which from what ive heard is an amazing amp, which you can find for about 400 bucks, but certainly you could find a much cheaper amp to push the same amount of power. as for the W1's i dont remember what they run RMS wise, mayve 125-150? so maybe a 250/1 but that all depends on your budget. someone else can probably tell you a cheaper amp
