The new one looks all plasticy, reminds me of an Alpine Type X. I'm definitely not knocking it's performance, but I was hoping for the same simple beefy brutal looking sub. |

Gold Member Username: SouthernrebelMonroe, Louisiana USA Post Number: 1104 Registered: Mar-04 | here's something that i have been wondering: no one on any of the other forums (including RE reps, ex: david) have actually said that they are gonna quit making the old model XXX...just that they are making a "new XXX". I wonder if they might just continue building the current model XXX and just add the new XXX to their line-up. Maybe even rename the old XXX (you know, something kinda like kicker did w/ the old black coned L7's...they renamed the old ones "L5" and built new "L7's"). That way RE would have the RE, SE, SX, old XXX, new XXX, and MT's  maybe even have a price drop that would be great! |
