Okay so I've decided to go with RE for an SQ/SQL quality sub. But which ones? I wanna spend around 400 and was looking at 2 SE12's, 2 SX12, or 1 XXX12. Remember looking for great bass witout sacrificing sound quality.
i would go w/ either 2 SE's or 2 SX's....depending on how much you have to spend on amps.
2 SE's would be ~$400...2 SX's would be more like $500. Plus, SE's are a more SQ oriented sub than the SX's. But SX's would sound really nice and be louder if you build a good box, they like more power though (~1000wrms each).
i can get the orion 2500D for around $500 which would give 2500 RMS x 1 at 1 ohm. It's a little over but I can set the gains lower. Anyway Amp will run less hot. But the thing is huge! might decide on 2 1200D's.
