My brother is in the Rangers and he is stationed at Ft. Polk in Louisianna and his regiment was the first people to help out in New Orleans

My sister and her husband live in Louisiana where the other hurricane hit. they are both in the army and live real close to a base. i don't know if it is Ft. Polk or not, they live in Leesville, LA. They are still without power and have been sleeping in their jeep for the past couple of nights cause it is so hot down there now.

in all reality though (even though that's a true article), it was all very unfortunate. i peeped a documentary about how it really went down. bodies floating ALL around. people stepping on the bodies to cross the water and aligators eating them. a bunch of really awful things (that happen worldwide regularly).
