I posted a similiar thread in the Amps section, but this section gets more traffic... I'm looking at amps to run my avalanche. still... people for some reason say it's not good to run a sub at 1ohm, so i'm looking at bridging a 2channel amp at 4ohms. The kicker kx850.2 looks good, as well as the mbquart raa2400. however, neither have a SSF. Is this absolutely necessary? I feel like it's not because the box is tuned so low (26hz.) if it is, could you recommend an amp for around 300 on ebay so I can run it at 4ohms?
