hay man,

i saw on one of your posts talkin about the guy w/ an memphis system that you said a friend of yours bought the 150db model SPL meter off of splmeter.com. I wanted to ask you a few questions.

How accurate is that meter? Have you ever metered your system on the TL? If so, how do #'s on the 150db splmeter compare to the #'s on the TL? Where did you place each meter while testing your SPL?

I have been wanting to get an SPL meter for some time now, but i didnt wanna shell out $750 for a TL.

thnx

SPL meters are usually 4-5db off a termlab but they are also not consistent. You can run the same system exact same conditions and be +-3 db in your readings. It is just a big POS. Save your milk money and buy a termlab.

What Oso said is completely true. But I can always play a hard-hitting song with these new boxes and it'll max it out. I havn't been on the termlab with this system. But a shop up here has a good termlab and a lot of other cools goodies :P.

And you measure off the center of the dash.
