A Guy Told me The amp will pull close to 600 amps off my electrical system
I did not think that the amperage pulld by an AB amp would be that much of a diffrence from D
the diffrence is in the Hundreds it seems
Im just going to get an Orion 2500D for my Avalanches

That's a nice amp, but at 44", it's too big for most cars. I doubt it'll even fit inside my trunk.

cuspid is total crap.

class D amps are 80% efficient. Class AB are about 50%. class AB amplifiers draw a lot of current, and get very hot. They also have a larger footprint than a class D amp of the same output.
The 2500D will still draw about 250A of current at full output though, so be aware of that.
You'll still need to upgrade your charging system for an amplifier that big.

that US Amps amplifier is a terrific amp, but it does draw a lot of current, and unless you're using a minivan, you're going to have to be creative to fit that into a car and still maintain any functionality.

yea The biggest alt I can get Is a 275 amp alt
the dude at EXCESSIVE AMPERAGE said he has guys running 250 plug into 3k watt amps and are doing fine I dont Know how to take that Will I need a Battery, caps? to aid the 275 alt amp

because at some point and time this amp will be running full throttle I dont plan on keeping the avalanches forever because the low power handling the new XXX will replace it

my other car I will go all eclipse
http://www.eclipse-web.com/sw9100/sw9152pro.html
looks promising altho It seems it will never go as low as the avalanch
but seems to Rival the XXX as far as going low is concerned

I just went and measured my Jeep, it would fit on the back seat very easily... I shouldn't have done that, now I want it... And 1k isn't bad for that amp, but I don't want to make my Jeep a competition vehicle, yet. :P
