Er - since i been on this forum since May , i have not seen a SINGLE person post & say they own ANY SS subs . But the general consensus is that the SS company does not make great products like they used to & i guess u would notice on many posts that RE AUDIO is the new holy grail in subs .....

Yeah true their new stuff is pretty average but their old stuff from before they were taken over was awesome. I have heard the exact woofer Before in an aperoidic enclosure and it was one of the cleanest woofers i've ever heard. That is a fair statement considering I have 2 id maxes.

The Exacts only could handle around 500 watts from what I can remember but probabbly handle a little bit more. I would buy a pair put it that way but I think you would be hard pressed to find a new pair as they were built around 5 years or more ago.

i would go with the re re for 80/pop.
i own 2 vgw-12's. they sounded really good at first, but are not high output subs and they don't take abuse.
