I have the first portion of my system done and needing to decide on box N woofers.

Pioneer deck,
2 Arc 6X9's
2 Arc 6-1/2's
Arc 4 channel amp 50 watts X4

My choices have been the stealth boxes.
1) front middle seat replaced with box 12"
2) or 2 10" under the rear seat.

I have not heard these yet and I just don't know enough about em,if one is better than the other.
Any clues?

Ok, I'm not sure what you're asking, I know you're talking about a 12 in a stelth box, but what kind of 10's/12 are you thinking about getting?

hmm lets see

y dont u read all the other posts the noobs like you make and you would see we would probably tell your worthless a.ss to call a company to make your box and buy some RE, JL, or any other company you would want us to tell you to buy because apparently you bought top of line speakers and dont know what top of the line subs to buy-although you should know that sytems sound quite bad in trucks when placed under seats or right next to your arm

also nice choice of an amp- my head unit puts out 50 watts to all my speakers

your POS dodge truck sucks a.ss and really isnt worth a system- as neither does arizona- u might as well be a mexican

i bet it has a hemi too

LOL

i advise noone to help this kid- make CC or BB deal with his arrogant a.ss

Augh you f@g, you got me.

So...
I use to have a nice system like 20 years ago.
$3000 worth. I loved it.
(It was stolen)
But I am just confused by all this stuff these days.

So here are some recent questions I have.

My Arc amp is 4X50watts
or if @ 2ohms it is 90watts.
What do I do to get it to the 90 watts?

This guy at the stero shop told me that if I went with a higher output deck I would get alot more power.
Wouldn't my amp only give me the power?

Augh c'mon don't get all butt soar with me.
seriously... you have to admit it got you to reply right...

Anyways, I admit I may be missing enough knowledge to spark up any interests with you guys that actualy know what your doing,
And I should be looking for old posts to try and get some info.
But this site is huge. and a few days worth of posts is just alot of reading,

Besides, you started off not knowing anything and someone helped you out.
Right?

Yup, right.
If you're using an amp to power the speakers, the HU's power means virtually nothing. The only way to get the 90 watts from that amp is to wire it to 2 ohms.:-) You'd need to post more on you're speakers for me to tell you any more.

Mexican? nope not me.
As if it matters,
But it is mexican green..
And it doesn't have a hemi

tayler 17, the stealth box that sits in the middle between the front seats is a jlw12??
I think.
And then i would assume the 10's are jlw10's

Hmmm, JL 12w0, and JL10 w0?
I don't really like the w0's, they sound good and all, but could handle more power, and get louder for my taste's.:-)
I have heard a 12w3 in a box like that, powered by a Kicker 500 watt amp... which is way overpowering the sub... anyway, it sounded awsome.

if you want a 10 i would suggest a 10 in Eclipse Ti- im a big fan of them

umm the 12 in model isnt the best but still a great great sub- i would recommend an IDmax because mine worked very very well with small space- and it hits every note perfect wih about your wattage (im not sure if you said 500)

you looking for spl(loud subs) of sq(drum kit next to you)

hey guys, Thanks for the suggestions.

legacy audio,
your last reply was that a question?
(QUOTE)

I am not sure what you mean if it was.

I like clean subs, that don't have a problem hitting the tonal range of the lows.

But...I also like warm and powerful mids.
And by mids I mean... toms or snare drums that when hit you feel it in your chest.
NOT brite tinny mids that just pierce your ears.

Just pure true reproduction of the music.
I am on this site cause when I go to the stereo shops to hear what my options are. there just loud and obnoxious.
Great subs... and highs to no end, but it is always missing the middle stuff.
Does this make sense?

The best I can explain of what I am trying to achieve is like my home system.

I have just 2 speakers A pair of Boston Acoustics.
A150's
10" a mid and a tweeter.
Great sounding, but could use a sub.
This would fullfil what I want in a system.
NOT like the satalite/sub systems.

Not sure if I am making sence or not, but...do you know what I am talking about?

But I have not been able to hear them.
Anyone know, out of these optipons which is better?

i would recommend the Eclipse Ti for you- buy it from electronicgiant.com - good service lowest price- its a high end sub that hits low and almost all highs-and has very good sound quality-what your looking for- it can get loud though- if you want a more sound oriented sub though buy and IDmax- Image Dynamics- they will sound very clean, the cleanest on the market- they wont hit hard and low but they will hit- and work very well with lower wattage amps

id take that first stealth box personally-take out the sub- both those subs are terrible versions in my opinion... y do you want a stealth box anway- if some1 wants to steal your stereo believ me they will look for it at all costs
