Amp installation - what gauge?

I have 2 Alpine MRP-M350 amps and an Audiobahn A4601Q.
The Alpines each run 350W x 1 (RMS @ 2ohms)
and the Audiobahn runs 75W x 4 (RMS @ 4 ohms)
So total = 1000w RMS.

All 3 will be located in the trunk. I want to know what kind of power setup I would need for this?

Will I be needing a 2 or 1/0 or maybe even (2) 4 gauge kits for these?

Also..... will a 1 farad Cap (or Two) help out any of the configurations above in any significant way?

2AWG from the battery to the trunk is good.
If the run is under 8 feet total, you'd have been ok with 4AWG.

the capacitor won't do any good.
if the voltage drops, look at a larger alternator

Would running (2) 4AWG wires be same as running a single 4AWG?

4+4 does not = 2 for wire gauge, but yes you could use two separate 4 AWG cables.
