I have two power acoustik Gothic-Series g840-2 amps. I want to run a two amp/two sub system and only have one, 2-gauge power input from the battery with an 80-amp fuse in-line. I dont know where to go from there or how to set it all up. I know ill have to use a cap (how big tho?) but how can i make it all "talk" together and run the same left and right?

a capacitor won't help you.
you might need a bigger alternator.

run the 2AWG line from battery to amp location.
get a distribution block with fusing for each amp in the block.
the block will fuse each amplifier, and split down from 2AWG to 4 or 8 gauge, which is fine for each amp if you keep that smaller gauge short, like a foot or two.
ground using the same gauge
