what kind of an amp is it if you can look in the manual for it see if it can run at 1 ohm if it can just hook all the + on the speakers together and then hook all the - together (perallel)

depends on the impedance of the 3 subs

most amps are only 2 Ohm stable, so he'll need to wire the subs in series-parallel to get any sort of a decent load.
I never understood why people bother with three subs.
I can do just about the same using two with a lot less hassle.

I can believe that but now how do you wire the subs in series-parallel is that were you hook them all up in parallel but the neg & pos is switched on one of the subs?

the object was to read and learn how to wire it yourself
not to look at pictures and try to match them to what you want.

with three speakers, you can wire in a combination of series and parallel to alter the load.. for example, two of the speakers in series together with the third in parallel to the other two..
it doesn't have to be all series or all parallel with more than two speakers, the same way using two DVC subs, you can wire the subs in parallel or series, and the coils in series or parallel to affect various loads to the amp
