im thinkin of purchasing a kicker L7 and haveing it powered by a audiobahn a8000t. right now i have a alpine type-r powered by a alpine mrd-m605. is it worth spending like 50 dollars more to up grade to the kicker?
Nope. If it's the new Type-R I'd keep the Type-R. Ask around on here, and you'll find out that those L7's aren't very reliable for long periods of time. That A8000T, well, some like Audiobahn, others don't. For $150 or so, it puts out nearly exactly what it says it does, but it's not going to sound as nice as say, JL or something like that. But don't get me wrong, it doesn't sound bad either, I have one, and love it. That Type-R and the amp you have, that looks like one of Crutchfield's package deals, am I right in saying so?
not sure if its a package, i just bought it on ebay. can anyone help me find a sub and amp that will sound better than the alpine...i got a $400 budget. thanks
